Enduring Understanding: Sculpture is a form of art that works in three dimensions by using a variety of materials in conjunction with the Elements and Principles of Design.
Essential Question: How do artists use the tactile qualities of sculpture as a vehicle for expression?
Objective: Students will develop fundamental sculpture skills to create expressive three dimensional objects, while guided by the Elements and Principles of Design. Students will develop their craft in a variety of mediums through long-term projects and sketchbook assignments.
